Physical Junk Mail

According to New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services:

  • The average American receives more than 500 pieces of junk mail each year. That comes out to about 30 pounds of unwanted mail for every American or one tree per household annually.
  • 65 million trees and 25 billion gallons of water are used to produce one year’s worth of this country’s bulk business mail, also known as JUNK MAIL.

Hello world!

Welcome to Recycle Org. We are here to promote recyling. There is so much waste in our lives! We would have a far better planet to live if we recycle and make better use of what we throw away without thought. I’m talking, “recycle EVERYTHING”! Thanks to my wife, who opened my eyes to recycling, I have learned that everything that exists can be reused in someway for the betterment of our planet and her inhabitants. She recycles just about everything. The other day, she got on my case for not recycling a little plastic water bottle. Okay, I learned right there and then that two things needed to happen FAST.  First, do as I’m told without question.  Second, question what I was told to do.  I got my answer and I’m so glad I asked.

So now, I am following her example. I started this web project with a few friends to promote recycling, to demonstrate how recycling can have an impact on our daily lives. We are going to do a recycling experiment or, in techno-blather, a “beta test”, whichever terms you prefer. The beta test is going to be online and we are going to recycle something that most people dump into the internet trash can. We are talking about EMAIL including those pesky, annoying “spam mails”.

You heard me! We will attempt to show that if we recycle emails and spams into proper categories, the resulting organized information will create power. In this case, we will try to show that you can earn a little income by recycling emails and help our planet and our fellowman at the same time.

Let’s do this!  Let’s work on this most daring “think green” program.  Invite your friends!  It doesn’t cost anything and really, it’ll be fun.  See you on-line at recycleorg.org.

Recycle Email can be found a recycleemail.com and Recycle Spam is at recyclespam.com.
